Sony releasing new alpha's

a230 a330 and a380

Personally I dont like the new designs of Sony's new camera, they look a lot like Nikon now. These cameras are actually Sony's way of attracting consumer to use dslr without the steep learning curve of owning a dslr. Supposedly its a lot easier to use. Its a lot lighter at the cost of lower batt capacity which operates at the same rate of canon and nikon.

No ,I'm not going to review each of those cameras as u can find a lot of those on the net. Sony's older model were a lot better. If anyone wants an alpha they are better off sticking with the old version. If your going to get these new versions then I would suggest buying Nikon instead

I give it a 4 out of 10

ps: my trustly old alpha 200 has never failed me yet. View gallery here

My first ever photoblog

The main reason I am creating this photoblog is so that I will continue taking pictures and post them here. Its a way of motivating myself to go out and take pictures and to have at least 2 post each month the very least. This way I would somehow try to find ideas of what pictures to take for my next post.

Its been awhile since I last went out to take some proper pictures. Those pictures are just pictures I've taken during vacations , so I did not plan on taking it properly. Of course I wouldn't want to carry around a tripod with me all over Disneyland now would I? Yes the picture of the castle at Disneyland was taken by me at night during the fireworks preparation. For non-dslr folks , usually a shot like this (at night, with low light) , a tripod is required because the camera operates in slow shutter mode as in to let as many light in as possible. It is damn near impossible to do so without a tripod. But of course using my sony alpha with its built in image stabilizer , this shot seemed easy.
